Recent myBB article:
The price of a 1GB data bundle on each mobile network in South Africa is listed below:
  • Vodacom – R149
  • MTN – R149
  • Cell C – R149
  • Telkom – R99
  • Rain – R50
Today's myBB:
  • 5GB Anytime – R99 per month
  • 10GB Anytime – R139 per month
The month-to-month 24 month version of the deal is a SIM-only package at the prices listed above.
Telkom Data On the Go: Is a Telkom Network Only Data plan.
The inclusive data on the Telkom Data On the plans will have a validity period of two calendar months.
Sounds good.
What's the catch?

EDIT: There is no month-to-month - it was a "mistake", only 24 month (aka lifetime) contract - that you will struggle to cancel when you expire.

anyone else using these routers experience really poor battery life?
Yeah its not great. But it has a small 1500mah battery which is not much when you are transmitting data continuously.

Best to have a powerbank on hand and plug it in.

Was going to upgrade my data plan last month, but the Telkom sales assistant recommended I wait for Black Friday.

Am I missing something? Where can one see that there is a month to month version, I have checked on the Telkom website and cannot find it?
