Monday 10 July at 18h00 on SABC 2 there will be a program which focuses on the scholarships provided for students to study overseas i.e. malaysia. As one of those recipients that got to study on that side of the world. Whatever good that will be said on the program is total bull**** The program will be "Kaelo" which is also telkom sponsored and is most likely to be scripted and edited to the maximum. Hopefully there will be options to call in or sms if its live.
Just remember! The true life story of events which unfolded to the students will soon bite telkom in the ass...everything hidden always comes out...

Telkom funds something like 75% of the telecoms research in SA. A clear 'social responsibility' action that, by gosh, happens to have significant benefits for Telkom! Imagine that!

Telkom then uses their position as an education funder to wield influence. They threatened to pull funding to one major body after the body released a report that was, uh, less than favourable towards Telkom's prices.

I one of cput students doing information technology second year (information systems 2 , Development sotware 2, Internet programming 2, and Technical programmint), i want to know much better about the busaries as i'm so in need of it as i also hope that i will work telkom one day.
