Telkom contract upgrades

My Telkom SmartPlan 100 contract is due for an upgrade. If I upgrade ny the end of the month the contract will only have run for 22 months. What happens to the last 2 payments? Will any accumelated minutes and data carry over to the new contract?

The new plan will only start after the old plan has expired. So you still pay the next 2 months and then only the new 24 months starts. Normally min/sms/data carries over. If the price plan changed they normally change you onto that immediately/end of cycle.

Example:
Old plan - min/sms/data = R100pm, device =R100pm =R200pm
New plan - min/sms/data = R80pm, device =R80pm =R160pm

Monthly charge for months 23 and 24 = R80 (new price plan) + R100 (old device)
Monthly charge for months 25-48 = R80 (new price plan) + R80 (new device)

Discovered today that the SmartPlan 100 contract has been downgraded.
The bonus 1GB of data per month is not included anymore. Only 150 GB per month.

It's always been with 150meg of data, it only came with a gig with a device.

They took the 1GB away when FreeMe launched.
