Fail indeed./OP thread fail.
With a rant like that the OP can forget about any assistance from those who have connections. And then name-dropping; all that will do is get the very people who tried to assist him into trouble.Fail indeed.
I would rather take this kind of action against my ISP, and get a hell of a lot more support from the people on MyBB than this.
Most people's issues are the ISPs, not the Telkom landline.
Did you receive (or apply) for a refund on your rental for the period that you were without service?
My line was down for about a month late last year after a massive storm destroyed a large amount of the cabling in the area... They started replacing the cabling 2 days after the storm, and it took them nearly a month... Even had a Telkom techie come to my house on a weekend and apologise for the length of the delay in getting it resolved, they didn't realise how much cabling had been damaged.
Didn't even have to apply for any refund, it was automatically granted.
My lines great, my only issue is thier instore customer service. must really learn how to pay them online, but is not as simple as other account and i just don't have the time to figure it out.

You don't usually add companies like Telkom as you would for normal beneficiaries as the large corporates are already preloaded and you just have to select them from a drop down menu/list. The only thing you require is the unique identifier made up of several numbers on your bill,

All three those numbers strung together without spaces will make up the number you have to add to your online banking thing.
