Telkom customers getting free Prime Video subs

Telkom will start giving free limited-period subscriptions to Amazon's Prime Video and Prime Video Mobile Edition streaming service to many of its contract and prepaid customers.

Effective from 28 March 2024, Telkom customers buying a new Telkom FlexOn or Infinite plan will receive one to 12 months of Prime Video Mobile Edition, normally priced at R29 a month.

I got my first year of prime video because of vodacom.
6 months on my account followed by 6 months on my wifes.

Welcome to the party telkom customers?

One way of getting your foot in the door.......lol.

That's lies , Telkom is only good at giving everyone a headache
Weird, my telkom mobile contract has been hassle free for at least 5 years.

That includes canceling certain services and devices and doing upgrades.

Old school telkom land-line stuff though 100% agree, wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

Sooo - my contract price has increased by R100 per month (100/100 fibre). When will they grace me with a Prime subscrription? Has anybody gotten it yet?

4 years on Telkom mobile then switched to Telkom fiber, 4 years on I cancelled and the next month re-applied (was planning to move but that never happened). Never had a problem with any of the cancellations or applications.

Why don't they give it to the people who have a fibre line through them?
