Same - no email. Stupid order process as I bet nobody ends up phoning me and I then in turn miss the deal.
I wish you could get this on prepaid. Pay R2400, get the data and the modem for 24 months. I hate contracts.
Ordered... now waiting for a call
Me too
schweet
any idea how they are keeping track of the first 1000 customers?
Maybe they only have enough staff to process +-33 a day so that makes the 1000 deal of the month???
did anybody get a confirmation email after applying online?
Nope
great! then at least I have a chanceIt's really very good deal
Still no indication how many deals are available at that price. Still they haven't debited my account yet
Got cut off twice at the 59m 59c point of the calls (as that's how long a mobile call is allowed to last on Telkom)...
*sigh*

Hey guys
I've been getting calls from 012 688 9996. I decided to answer and a lady on the other end told me she was phoning from Telkom, asked me if I was who her system said I was, then proceeded to inform me the call is recorded.
Then she started her spiel about how I am a customer who has been complaining about outages in my area (the last time I did complain I was technically an Axxess customer) and how Telkom wants to give me a free mobile Wifi router with a free sim (I guess) that will allow me to remain online during the dark days / moments, for free. Gratis.
Of course if Telkom changes this "special offer" (free?) next year then I will get more added benefits, but she did not specify if these would be free. Normally this would sound completely bogus to me, except I am a paying customer of Telkom, and lord knows my monthly bill makes me feel I should be getting something free.
So is this legit, and what is the (inevitable) catch?
