They haven't deducted a debit order for me yet.

Wonder when I will received this, they will probably try to delivered it at work next week, while I am away on holiday.

No rush, just want certainty.

True, with Cell C I am certain people who call me will hear "the number you have dialled does not exist" and my data throughput will be slow.

With MTN I will be certain to have bad customer service.

With Vodacom I will be certain to pay a premium for everything.

With Telkom I am certain of nothing...

Recieved delivery yesterday. finally...

Was there a lag before you could use it. Mine say's no service at the moment.

Maybe a RICA issue?

Telkom Deal of The Month

Well, my direct debit (R99) went out on the 19th (Saturday) .... so now it's wait for the Delivery (5 to 7 days).... then RICA (+/- 48hrs).... then I am up and running to put this into my Mothers house ..... Bit of an "effort" & it's also a long process, but getting there. Maybe Telkom should find a way to simplify their online orders / process & final delivery ..... I will keep you updated.

How do I activate LTE on my promo5, 10 gig sim cards?. Or am I restricted to 3G speeds only?. Cheers

Well, they took my money on the 19th of March and I have still not had any indication of a delivery date.... no sms / no email..... Just a phone call asking if my initial concern "of not wanting to take my order" was addressed... I said, "Yes", and you took my money on the 19th, but still no delivery of any hint of any communication since then.... I was then told that it might be due to a "stock-take".... which I guess might be a genuine answer, but it's now the 4th of April.... and delivery was supposed to be within 5 to 10 days max.... ;) .... fingers crossed it happens this month :p

Hmmm, I am giving up... I have asked them to cancel my order and to refund me the R99 that they already took from my Bank Account....... shocking service... absolutely shocking. :mad:

I'm still holding on..... have PMd the Telkom rep here, but the comms seems to be as bad.... little bursts of nothing.... just hope the CellC deal is still on when I give up on Telkom..... TM connection is great where I live, but getting a contract (which most avoid) seems impossible

CellC's 100GB for R999 is a better option if you don't need the LTE MIFI device.... I have "cancelled" but I haven't heard anything since ..... So I honestly doubt that I will see my R99 again unless I freak out in a Telkom shop .... Maybe one day when I am bored
