Sign up with GoogleWell what can I say. I get a letter hand delivered to my door last wednesday. It's from telkom, informing me that they are going to be replacing all of the phone lines in my area. woopie I think.
Well, thursday they came, did the snipping - changed the box on the pole between the properties and my ADSL was down for the whole day.
Since then, my word. I've never transfered at such high speed. Still on my 512k line - but it's going well. Speed tests don't show too much difference, but my torrents are coming down very fast.
Only problem now is I am eating bandwidth. On my 25th gig already, and the month isn't out. TG for WebAfrica. They make it real easy to just buy some-more. Oh and big ups to telkom for only capping me at 10 gigs (on the bloody 5th of the month).
