They appear to have only done the marketing on the LTE packages, not the actual packages. I have been struggling for 2 months to get my uncapped one. They dont have stock of the routers anywhere according to the person I spoke to.

I got my LTE in December by using my work address for the product.

However I have been receiving phone calls from Telkom over the past 3 weeks querying if I would like to get LTE.

Only thing I put it down to was when I showed interest in their LTE offering for future deployment, and now they are following up with this.

True but remember my request was an address that did not fall under their "Uncapped LTE offering", every time I filled in the form it said I would be contacted once it was available in my area.

OK , are you happy with the LTE? my adsl is only ~1Mbps where I live but I am in LTE coverage. Considering it.

I am super happy, probably get a constant 60Mbps with local server speed tests and 20Mbps International server speed tests.

So far used well over 400gigs p/m through streaming, PS4 downloads, google music, etc

I did try and educate myself as much as possible to get the best out of the product and still looking to squeeze better speeds but not complaining.

As for my original comment in another post I did not experience the same thing that you guys did. I had more problems trying to get my S6 from Vodacom which took longer.

I just called 2 days after receiving the ticket from the online portal which I applied for on the 1st.

Spoke to a lad, gave him the ticket number and he checked and said he would escalate, next day receive a call from another gent to sign me up.

Thereafter was hoping to get it over the weekend, but had to wait for debit order which went off on the 5th.

Finally received the product on the 9th, and sim was activated on the 10th.

Since then I am being bugged for the Antenna to be installed by a very eager technician.

Overall I had a total different experience from you guys, however I did call to confirm the ticket number, and I did use Twitter and Facebook to communicate with the guys each day. I think I was lucky to get the right people.

Granted one thing I did find strange is that the debit order went off on the 5th, yet my credit alert sms for a credit enquiry only came through on the 8th.
