Hi I am sure I have seen the answer to this question before on the forum, but I cant find it.

Do both (ethernet and USB)the telkom ADSL pots have a firewall function, or does just the one product have it or perhaps neither?

What I want is to be able to block all incomming request and only allow request through that originate from inside my local LAN.

I would appreciate any help, or perhaps a link to read up about the telkom products, If I have to I can purchase one an alternative ADSL router, oh I have the telkom adsl ethernet POTS.

thanks

I have been using a D-LINK 504G router for 2 months or so and it work very well. The local D-LINK suport is very good. I run the Firewall, IP Filter and NAT and it work a charm. The retail price should be about R1200. I have also seen some good comments about Netgear routers, but i don't have any expierence with it.
