Just a heads up you now get free installation on all fibre packages especially Month-to-Month and 24 Month contracts from Telkom not only the Promo as most of their staff seem to think.
I was left frustrated as i wanted to migrate to month-to-month with free installation and received terrible service from Hatfield Telkom direct, the most unhelpful unfriendly incompetent bunch around and the call center dont know about free installation promotions or fibre products.
Went to Menlyn Mall Telkom Direct and it was the complete opposite people where knowledgeable and there is a ticket system at the door so other people dont get helped before you even if you where there first as is the case in hatfield.
Now im waiting in anticipation for a connection date should be in 2 weeks time I recon.
