Telkom free ADSL speed upgrades announced

This might be worth it, just to save me a few bucks every month...

I could possibly downgrade to 2meg.
 
Thinking about this....

I'd like to see the T&C's. Probably "up to 1024, best effort service".

Will be interesting to see what the minimum DL/UL rates will be.
 
Finally, a foot in the door...to true broadband.Now for the pricing and LLU.
 
I hope they first sort out my congested exchange before they upgrade any one on it.
 
WHEN WHEN WHEN... All I was looking for was dates as to when this will happen. Didn't even read the whole article.
 
Guess i will need to downgrade. The 4meg line is getting very expensive, still no 10meg in sight here. I wonder if telkom realise if their top end product is not getting upgraded also, people will downgrade from it....

Maybe Telkom lives in a fantasy land where all 4Meg guys have already been upgraded to 10Meg.
 
That's fantastic! Now I can downgrade my 4mbps line to 2mbps, which was the maximum speed I was getting anyway! FTW!
 
The speed upgrades will happen in a phased approach. The process will start in August and run through to September.
