Telkom's R6.75-billion tower deal gets green light

The Competition Commission has suggested to the Tribunal that it should approve Actis' acquisition of Telkom's mast and tower business, Swiftnet.

This follows Telkom shareholders unanimously voting to sell Swiftnet for a base purchase price of R6.75 billion.
