Telkom business integration services executive Rikus Matthyser said he was surprised at the forum’s “emotional and inaccurate reaction, given the overwhelming response from well-informed customers taking up the offer”.

It would be interesting if these "well-informed customers" will still agree with Matthyser in a years time.

someone should ask either the journalist or this ' Telkom business integration services executive Rikus Matthyser' how they determine who are 'well informed' customers?

If he's reached the belief that customers are 'well informed' BECAUSE they've taken up the offer - then someone should point out to him AND the journalist, that customers don't have any other option available.

Telkom continues to try avoid conveying that they are the ONLY provider allowed to operate here - so everything they say, must be placed against this simple fact.

How can you as a consumer sign up for a service, and be called 'well informed' for doing it - when you have no other choice in the market?

The ADSL Rental charge has had good coverage but I think it might be a good idea to put emphasis on the FACT that we've been paying a premuim for a best effort service, If its best effort it should be best effort payment too.......
