Telkom landline nuisance call every morning.

Does anyone know how Telkom can block or give me info of a number that calls us every morning?

We answer and no one is on the other end, its possible that its a bugged automated message or it could be a robber trying to find a time that we are out.

I phoned telkom and they say that they can't see a list if numbers which have been calling our line which I find very hard to believe...

Im assuming the only way to sort this out is to buy a phone with an LCD display, which could be a waste of money because it could be hidden on their end.

Without sounding facetious you have a 90s problem. What do you need the Telkom land line for that VOIP or Cell can't give you? (and both can block numbers in various ways).

If you really need the land number, port it to a VOIP provider like Euphoria or similar and then use their management systems to see who is calling and block it. If there is no caller ID, some of them let you block by time so if the number keeps calling at 08:00am every day block calls from 08:00-08:02.

A phone with LCD still won't help you because although you'll know what number is calling you you can't do much about it.
