Originally Telkom announced prices to drop by 1 August. At that time they got marketing mileage.

Now supposedly they’re dropping if ICASA approves their very generous offer. I’m being sarcastic.

Second lot of marketing mileage for same thing and one month late. Who says it won’t slip even more.

See original statement. http://www.mybroadband.co.za/nephp/?m=show&id=339

They're dropping ADSL 31% on 1 August. The 1st of September (that which ICASA must approve) is for all their other telephony services.

on their proposed pricelist ad thingy in the Sunday Newspaper, it stated new prices as effective from 1 September 2005, and they had the new ADSL prices there.

Well, considering the new ADSL prices are effective from 1 August, they would obviously also be valid for 1 September o_O.

Telkom has already billed the lower prices for many subscribers on these forums, me included. There is enough dirt on Telkom to keep people pissed off for a long time. Do we really threads like this to find or make up more reasons to bitch and moan?

*sigh*
