R299 for Uncapped LTE on the MTN network from Axxess is still way better IMO.
You must be new to the forum. Hi.Can anyone confirm if this deal has no FUP? Can't seem to find the T&Cs of this new deal
Any usage above 2TB and they will repossess your car.Can anyone confirm if this deal has no FUP? Can't seem to find the T&Cs of this new deal
Telkom LTE is reasonable in my area, 2 speedtests done today, 1 early when it's still quite and 1 around 15:00. Will do another at peak time tonight to see what's what.View attachment 1282910View attachment 1282912
Doubt it haven't come across any Telkom packages be it contract or resold that limits which network bands you connect. With the only exception being the roaming networks of course.Do you need to be in 2300mhz coverage? Seen that their packages also work in 1800mhz. How will one be able to bypass this?
Yes 1800mhz will work.Do you need to be in 2300mhz coverage? Seen that their packages also work in 1800mhz. How will one be able to bypass this?
No it's not, MTN has a cap of 100gb which is pathetic especially if watching netflix on a 4K TV.R299 for Uncapped LTE on the MTN network from Axxess is still way better IMO.
Yes this is the problem. If it was prepaid which I could extend I'd go for it. But month to month means you have to pay for it each month and there's going to be a lot of breakage. Now if they had a prepaid version of this I'd be interested. Heck even a 1TB version would do. But there's no way in hell I'm ever opening an account with Telkom again.
Im in kraaifontein telkom lte ain that great. Tower near me also only have have around 1 hour backup time during loadshedding.Kraaifontein, Cape Town Northen Suburbs.
Should be a decent fibre alternative if speads hold up in peak time.
Signed up recently for a LTE data deal which me and the wife share in our phones for "mobile" data. (Did get a secondary sim)

This has been the case for me also as of a few months ago. Like exactly after 1 hour it dies. Someone else also complained about Telkom going off after an hour here in cape town wonder if changes have been made somewhere. The only networks that stay up here now are voda/rain shared tower.Im in kraaifontein telkom lte ain that great. Tower near me also only have have around 1 hour backup time during loadshedding.
Luckily all of kraaifontein has fibre, expect where I live lol
