Telkom LIT – FreeMe music and video streaming fair use limits detailed

Lol the streaming box they give out will probably only allow you to watch tv 8h a day or something.

8hrs a day is too much then :wtf:.

It think it is more than fair and there is always a chance they will lift this as the product "matures" :D.

For now it seems that users on the new UNLIMITEDhome 8Mbps & 10Mbps packages on contract get a free* LIT TVC 100 media box to stream. When it will come to capped / month to month is another question :).

*subject to stock availability as they said.

soo is this only for telkom mobile users, or also their long-suffering internet users too?

A FUL and quality cap is ridiculous, rather only have a FUL, and let the people choose the streaming quality!

I like that, still have they FUP but let the user decide the quality, you can then decide to watch YouTube in 360P but maybe you want to watch your Netflix or Showmax in 720P.

Hmmm, this might make it worthwhile to upgrade packages actually....

Looks like it excludes FreeMe Family, would have been nice on that.

They're keeping it SD for lit video but nothing about the lit TV box. Is it zero rated streaming and what's the FUP on that? I don't seem to find anything supporting the lit TV FUP limits.
