Did Ivy also tell us how much Telkom makes from fraud? Think about all the millions they must score from people not picking up that someone is using their lines illegally... hmmm.. ok, maybe u gotta be quite a dumb@ss to not realise that :p

On a serious note, I think the billing dept at Telkom should be renamed to the Fraud Promotion Dept. All that erroneous billing they do to us plebs!! Rant over :D

I also hope that lose more, to be honest they deserve it - WIth all the high pricing in the market its no wonder people are doing it.

Think telkom - bad service, bad pricing, bad lines etc etc etc. How long do you think it will be before people biocot your company and start tioy tioy out side in the street demanding some kind of change.

As much as I would like to see an end to Telkodemonopolies' monopoly, I am not joining the fray with gloating about Telkodemonopolies losing money to fraud bcos this beast punishes its customers when they are victims of clip-on etc fraud - either you pay your bill or the beast goes all terminator on your line - then you struggle to prove that it wasn't you calling all sorts of exotic international numbers in Afghanistan and other places that you might never call.

Oh and last time I tried to get Telkodemonopolies to block my line for outgoing international calls, they told me they were only allowed to do it if I had been a victim of clip-on fraud, or if I paid for BlockCall Plus, which means that Telkodemonopolies actively supports clip-on fraudsters in the hopes that customers that are victims of clip-on fraud will not be able to claim back as a result of Telkodemonopolies' incompetence.

Telkom losing millions in fraud and then crying about it, is like Hitler getting a wood splinter in his finger and then going to the local synagogue and complaining to the Rabi that he has hurt his finger.

I can believe that! When I had a new line installed like a year ago, I wanted the account limited to a small amount, but those Telskum idiots told me the minimum was R900, IIRC!!
