Hi all

Ive been on the uncapped LTE for some years now, and cant see me moving in the near future (no fibre yet)
I want to be able to access my home alarm, opensprinkler and a NAS(and eventually home assistant) when I am away from home.

I have limited knowledge on IT/network related stuff, but whatever I have tried doesnt seem to work (barring the alarm setup)

If someone can let me know if its possible to do this on LTE and what are the steps required etc it would be much appreciated.

Currently using a b315 router, and have tried port fowarding etc but I cant seem to get it right. Also cant seem to reserve an ip for a wireless device.

What are my options if this is not possible on LTE?

Thanks

Maybe try another APN first, your settings may be ignored.

Also note of WAN IP address (you can read it on the B315), it can be one of a new "ISP grade".

Then speak to Telkom.
