They said they followed China and India as countries using that band, with the hope that cellphone companies will make phones that support that band, based on the market size of these two countriesNope only phone to support Telkom LTE is the iPhone 5S, but apple have not enabled support for Telkom Mobile.
So in reality no phone supports Telkom LTE. Routers & USB Modem's only....
Telkom LTE is a #fail, they are using a very odd frequency. And I don't see things changing for a while....
Wrong. They had this band allocated long time ago for other services. They said they followed China and India as countries using that band, with the hope that cellphone companies will make phones that support that band, based on the market size of these two countries

The iPhone 5C also supports TDD 2300MHz. I'm waiting patiently but I'm not too stressed. LTE on a mobile phone that also does voice is mayhem. Also turning LTE on and off, or rebooting your phone several times a day, makes you feel it's not worth it. 3G really is good enough for mobile phones.
Does TM LTE work on the 5s yet?
