Telkom LTE Coverage

Hi Guys,

I would just like some advice. I just moved and there is no adsl infrastructure.

I looked at Telkoms LTE options and saw I am about 300m away from the LTE coverage.

My question is if I have an LTE router and I attach a high gain antenna to my place will I be able connect with the LTE router?
With this option I am not expecting great speeds but I need some sort of internet connection.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

It should work fine. And even if LTE is bad the router fall backs to 3G.

On LTE only the XPOL-006 should be good. If on the other hand it needs to 3G you will need 2x LPDA-0092.

Ahh Thanks very much, I am getting the XPOL-006 so that makes me feel abit more at ease lol

Its worth a try. The only issue will be getting some kit to test with.

If you get the antenna, go for the High Gain 2.3GHz - 2.4GHz Antenna, its a directional antenna and must be pointed towards the tower to get improved performance , its the middle one in the link, however the link below the pic takes you to the wrong specs.
