Sign up with GoogleTelkom gave me 1 GB for being loyal so i decided to do some speedtests on my mobile. I noticed my upload speeds on certain towers had doubled. Normally 9Mb/s up now at 20Mb/s up. I see on telkoms website they now say "Telkom’s LTE network support downlink speed up to 90Mbps and uplink speed up to 25Mbps."
Is this something new? Why in the past would I get close to 80Mb/s down but never more that 9Mb/s up? What has changed? Shouldn't the fact that I had been getting close the the theoretical max down mean the same for up or am I missing something?
