So a technician was meant to come today (26th) to activate my line. Every phone call to telkom throughout the day I was told they can give me no details on where the technician is because they are private contractors. I managed to get the contractors number, however all they told me was that telkom was lying to me and that they do know where the technicians are. At 4pm I called telkom and spoke to the supervisor who told me that the contracting company was lying to me as "they were trying to get rid of me". The supervisor gave me the directors number of the contracting company. When I called the director he clearly didn't want to help and told me to send him an email, solly.sukumali@gmail.com. However this was not a valid email.
I'm clearly being lied to by one party and neither is willing to help. It's so frustrating that I wasted a whole day waiting and on top of that receiving no help an being lied to. Where to now?
