Telkom Migration Blunder

Good day

I just had a look at my cheque account and found Telkom debited more money from my account.

My Telkom 24 months contract is more then 8 months old for starters.

I was on Business 50GB package. I received last year the free 50GB night surfer data.
Then beginning of Jan received the 50GB only.

I followed this up with 081-180 call. There I was told I need to migrate from Business 50GB package to Smart Broadband, this includes the night suffer 50GB data.
This should cost me nothing because the values are the same. I went into Telkom shop and did my migration.
The consultant also told me there would be no charges involved because both packages are priced at R699.

Last month my billing looked ok.
This month a shocker. I got nailed for migrating over a R1000 extra on my Telkom account.

I followed up with Telkom accounts. The confirmed the migration charges.
The logged a call with Telkom accounts.

Lets see what happens. :confused:

Morning

A friend of mine switched houses.
He has applied to move is ADSL line.
He also got knocked for a six, R1000 more on his bill.

What can you say?

Good day all

All seems to be sorted. I e-mailed TelkomZA with my concern. Never received any feed back. Don't know if he forwarded the e-mail onto Telkom Mobile side for intervention. Also supplied MyBB news article about the migration.

I phoned the call centre 2 * also spoke about my concern why do I get billed for migration cost. Should not be. Also about turnaround time not happening. fast enough. (48Hrs)
I received Saturday sms stating I have credit now with Telkom. Account is sorted. Took a whole month to sort out this billing issue.
