Pretoria looks bad today. I'm looking fine at the moment. My signal is less than 50% (with a rooftop antenna), go figure...

And the worst is 8ta seems to have no interest in doing something about it.

In 8ta's defense, since I logged my performance complaint (via the 8ta myBroadband rep) I've had numerous emails, phone calls from two people and two visits from techies to get signal readings, etc. I'm hoping that this effort translates into network tweaks which return performance to where it was a few weeks ago.

I must say that when i had problems with remote login using VNC via my 8ta 3G, the same guy called me at 6pm sharp every night for a week in assisting me get it sorted. In the 5months that i've had my 8ta 3G, i have been pretty impressed with them

What are the 8ta speeds I should expect in Centurion, especially the Wierdapark/Eldoraigne area?

I am currently getting poor results compared to my CellC:

8ta: down: 1mbps up: 0.1mbps
CellC: down: 6mbps up: 3mbps

How come 8ta is so slow in this area?

From the 24th to the 26th my 8ta internet speeds were very slow for me. It was unbearable, couldn't watch a Youtube video.

My speed today are great. I've done 2 speed tests a few moments ago and the results are as follows:

I reside in the Die Hoewes area, Centurion. Generally 8ta internet speeds are very good in my area, well, for me.
