Nope, they discontinued it at the end of last month. Probably a good thing or I would be tempted to get it again, even though the speed is so bad for me. It is just so cheap. I guess you get what you pay for though.


A technician is actually coming here now, I wonder how that will resolve anything... :/

Best quality consistent throughput I have ever used.

I am on the East Rand. Latency is good. Speed is good. 8ta portal works fine. Consistent download speed of about 300-500KB/s using browser. Consistent 400-900KB/s on torrents.

I will definitely consider 8ta for a voice contract after I ditch these Cell C idiots.

I have a Huawei E372 but get crap speeds have reported it multiple times but nothing has come of it. Highest I get is 0.9 Mbps.

I have a theory that every since that LTE hit the market the HSDPA has been crap, not in the day so much but at night it's crap so you can't really make use of your night time data, from 23:00 till 5am I was only able to download a measly 400 megs, when the day hit it jumped up to normal speed what a crock of ****. (this happened to me multiple times) ****ing telkom, should have known better.

took me 6 times to try access the website, but honestly, this has become a fkn joke now.

Web browsing is just impossible. All the 3g router is good for now is a flashing led display.

Before January i used to hit 10mbps down and 3mbps up on a regular basis. i am lucky to get past the test results since April.

From 8ta supporter to now a H8ta supporter. I have to laugh at the Telkom Mobile Ad. Best Voice in the country. WTF, what about Data.

We on the 8ta contracts want best data latency and speeds. Not voice.
