SMS came through to my phone. My kids' contracts are on my name and use my main number as the base number. So it could be one of theirs.

Switched to Telkom data from MTN on my dual sim android and I'm getting HSPA now (was 3G on MTN) definitely seems faster, guess I'll be switching data providers if all looks good after the trial period.

Interesting that I didn't get the offer on my other Telkom prepaid phone.

Never used TM data before and minimal airtime, I've been with MTN since 1999 and never felt the need to change.

Back in the day Telkom would reward customers. Every recharge would receive free Telkom mobile and landline calls for 3 days etc

I got the "Your internet access has been paused because you are using Out of Bundle Data... " SMS this morning and half hour later access was restored

Quite enjoying the HSPA (HSPA+ in some areas) speeds and TM coverage on my usual routes seems better than MTN.
