Telkom Mobile Free WiFi Still Available?

I was wondering if that "offer" is still available from TM. I've come across their AP a number of times at the malls and just wanna know if I can still use it under the same conditions as last year

Yes its still available for free to any network. You just need to send a sms. Its works great actually and free.

SMS free to 32707 and you should get a sms saying you can access now using the sim eap option or they will sms you a passcode that you use on the website redirect to get internet

They probably using their 3G/4G network to offer this product

Noticed at Telkom Direct store they have a Huawei B593s-601 operational and on

It's not as useful as I would like. Ideally the TM hotspots need to be in Woolies stores - AlwaysOn is a bit of a white elephant IMHO.

Anyway, there are 3 TM hotspots I frequent. The first is the only one that works. Round about a 6Mbps WiFi connection; second place at a TM shop the WiFi has been turned off for weeks - pathetic; third is at a House of Coffees - so slow and useless it's a complete waste of time.

@Richard: think it might be ADSL. No LTE that I've seen.
