Telkom Mobile Speed, Disconnections & Coverage Problems – click here first!

 
Problem is definitely with Telkom. Keeps going into roaming mode and have to restart the device. When it does work it's slow or unable to connect to various services. I even swapped sim slots.

I found a new speedtest site called myspeed.ai

Use *180# scroll down till you find Block Telkom-R think it’s 13 (not sure ) and follow the prompts to block it

Then Telkom only data will always work

Having the same issues but cannot connect to Forticlient with Telkom LTE - I have contacted Telkom and they say it is nothing on their side - Everything was find before the Break Last week. Really struggling to work
 
Hainvg major network problems since this outage. Slow speeds even on 5G.
Used to get 120mb, now I'm lucky if I get 5mb
 
I have probably just lost whatever marbles I thought I once had, but for the first time since jumping ship; I can't get into My Telkom. Anyone else observing anything weird? Something at selfservice.telkom.co.za seems a bit off.

Yesterday, Telkom LTE was up & down like a whore's drawers... frequent interruptions & loss of connection on both of my Huawei routers - a B315 & a B525 - for most of the day - as I was using MS Teams - this was most irritating - as I had to constantly switch routers to whichever one still had a signal available...

I tried a speedtest on both both of them earlier this morning, and it seems to have been resolved, with much more acceptable connection speeds - at least for now...
