I fail to see how this merger could ever be in the interest of the consumer. So of course it will be allowed.

minus Neotel...

--- is it because telkom is running scared of neotel, and want to do the old "all your base are belong to us" trick, and corner the market?

I agree with librarian. Telkom are slowly but surely seeing that they are going to be in trouble with neotel, now the try and control the market even more. And in the long run us as the consumers are going to suffer!!

I doubt the Competition Tribunal will allow this merger if they blocked the Business Connexions one
