Telkom owes employees R5 million

Solidarity has won an arbitration award against Telkom related to the interpretation of salary increases for employees due from April 2017.

This comes after Solidarity had agreed with Telkom in 2016 to give a 6% salary increase to staff that would take effect in April 2017.

As a former employee that has been the victim of unfair labour practices in this accord the number of employees stipulated in here is less as most of us were affected and offered VSP in 2019 meaning that we are likely not to receive our backdated owed money from the mafia led Telkom

The money is still due, they will have to find you and give you your money.

they know for real no one will monitor the repayment of this and will getaway with it. Justice is not fully served in SA. On how many occasions did Solidarity and SACU appeal this case. If it wasnt of their will to ensure fair labour practices it would be dusted and closed
