Telkom nails Cell C’s Epic contract buyout

Heard it the other day, it's brilliant :D

So they basically offer you no way out of your existing contract, unlike Cell C. Not sure how that ad suddenly puts them ahead of Cell C, no matter how clever the wording.

Having recently moved from Hell-C to Hellkom Mobile within the last two months... Can unequivocally confirm that they are equally useless with their customer services. As for network coverage... Meh. Both equally suckey.

Does anyone have more info on this deal? Cannot find it on their site.

I wonder if that is really the deal? On the Telkom site, if you select the P8 and the Unlimited Lite plan it works out to R899pm. So are they really offering it for half price?

I'll put my c$ck on the block and say that the "unlimited calls" refers to Telkom Mobile on net calls only which is just as flippen shady as Cell C's buy-out campaign offering "up to R10k"

Their mention of "Terms and Conditions apply" means they are referring to the unlimited ON-NET calls for 12 months

Shady as f#$k

I was so happy when I heard about this.

The advertisement then promotes a cellular contract offering a Huawei P8 smartphone, unlimited calls, and 24GB of data for under R400 per month.

Where is this package for unlimited calls, clearly the advertisement is misleading.

I think Cellc should respond and make fun of Telkom's supply chain issues.

What is the point of having tempting contracts@Telkom,if you dont even have stock?

150MB data on all networks, 1 GB on Telkom lol. So if you dont have signal when mobile, stay at one place to use your data? Seems Telkom are still a fixed operator lol!

Nobody has stock of anything, have you seen the Rand Dollar exchange lately?
