Does Telkom Media ring any bells or have all those with living memory of it been axed already?

BUT CEO we do not care and wanted Naked ADSL since some of us cannot get FTTH.

Why do we want to pay for all in 1 where we can pay for what we want ???

Exactly, and MTN Frontrow has also made some ill-advised calls. Telkom has a great opportunity here, but they really need to strategise carefully and execute this correctly.

Will this happen before or after the basic speed increase from 2Mbps to 4Mbps?

I have lost hope in that increase of basic speed, we've been waiting since when for it? ExcHanges are broken and they are not willing to fix them. Sigh

How do we get excited about fibre when a large chunk of us has been left behind?

And this will be aimed at pd's as usual and the others will pay for it.

How will they get around SuperSport's domination of the exclusivity rights?

It will be DSTV over fibre.

Complexes don't like people putting up satellite dishes, and complexes are pushing for fibre access these days. It's a win win for everyone.

They are firing people yet buying new companies and building new buildings. And they want to stream sports and other media on a network that is falling apart bit by bit??? Maybe they should remove the circus from their offices first...

They will never be able to compete with DSTV.

Having a majority of the network infrastructure in this country they cant even compete with small fibre installers or with smaller ISP's.

Shareholders should be crapping their pants at the thought of the wasted investment in this area.
