Telkom POTS router Port Forwarding

Hi,

I'm having problems using the port forwarding (PAT) on the Telkom ADSL router. Basically I want the router to listen on a TCP port (25), and forward this port to a machine inside the LAN.

I believe I set this up as per how its supposed to look, but it doesn't work?! Do I have to upgrade the firmware on the router before this will function?- And if so where do I get the firmware upgrade?

I have the same problem - how do I get connection to port 3000 at the router ip (165.165.x.x) routed to a local LAn side PC's prot 3000.

mmm i use a trusty linux box and it kicks very simple and easy
