Was almost happy when I read Eskom, then I read Telkom and got sad.

No losses. Telkom is basically non-existent in any event. The company can't even offer a telephone line anymore. With a minimum of 7.5 hour power outages a day on level 2, 3 and 4 loadshedding, their transmitters no longer function in our areas and their mobile services become useless too. So, with no services available, I do not see any reason for them to keep a bloated workforce. They should have retrenched at least 90% of staff by now.
