Telkom rules the roost

From the article...

"Sentech, the state-owned signal distributor, was sluggish in competing with Telkom, he said. This would result in Telkom getting at least another year of no competition in the wholesale market."

OF COURSE!!!!!! because Telkom have ensured their strangle hold on the market place by leasing their infrastructure to Sentech (and others) at RETAIL pricing not at WHOLESALE thereby forcing Sentech's pricing model out of the water which meant less uptake, less competition and ergo Sentech is battling ....well, the wheel keeps turning and turning in Telkom's favour.

Now if we could just lay our hands on the documentation/data that proves this..... heh heh :p

"Despite heightened competition in the telecommunications market"

WTF ?? It seems that no-one ( media ) seems to realise that fact pea-pod. That all service providers are forced to used Telkom infrastructure.

It annoys me that with all the resources available reporters still regurgitate this garble.
