Telkom Smarbroadband Uncapped LTE R 799.00 deal ultimate cost.

By all accounts Telkom's offer is pretty good. You get a free router and installation for 799 smackers a month. Down and upload speeds are pretty revolutionary in comparison to our now archaic ADSL. It is a great deal and I will surely jump at it provided I can get an answer to the following questions.

1) Once your 24 month contractual period has expired what wil Telkom be charging us then ??

2) What wil be the minimum service levels and support we can expect from our trusty parastatal ??

They change the rules anytime it suits them. Take at your own risk. It works but not as well as it did in the beginning

The wheels have come off and the driver is almost asleep. Just my experience with Telkom LTE. I would not recommend it.

Agreed, provided you get a decent connection. What if speeds/connectivity are horrendous and you're locked into a 24 month contract?

Then you get telkom to come out and fix the issue.. if it cannot be resolved, you can cancel penalty free.. This has been done before by one of friends..

To be honest.. i've had connectivity issues a handful of times.. but 95% of the time the service is great and i do netflix streaming for quite a few hours a day..
