Iol. i think im only one using Rain in my area...

damn my 15 day unlimited ends in 2 days

Lucky you then because my Rain on B3 is totally useless but I blame Vodacom for that because I saw on my S8 with my Vodacom contract that I get the same cell id as on my Rain router so Vodacom is pushing all it's users on the Rain tower. Rain B38 is a bit better fluctuating between 15-45Mbps. Adding it to my Telkom LTE-A which is ~100Mbps I usually see about 135Mbps on a good day but always over 100Mbps which is nice. R529 for Telkom uncapped and R250 for Rain off peak data.

Who can beat ~135Mbps uncapped for R779

I experienced a brief outage due to that storm in Durban yesterday. Nothing that a router reset couldn't fix.

Same here, only worse.

We measured 0.11 download yesterday but the problems have been going on all weekend.

Randburg/Fourways area.

I've DM'd the Telkom Twitter account but have had no reply as yet.

Okay at home and did the setup and I'm disappointed.

All the ports are 10/100Mbps which I did not notice when I bought it. SO speed is capped @ 100Mbps for me although I know I should be pushing 140Mbps so that is a bit of a disappointment. The rest of the device. OMG it's awesome. It works so well. For those on LTE and adding Rain if you are aiming for 100Mbps or less then this thing works great. If you like me are looking for more than 100Mbps it's not the solution you want to try rather go for a load balancer with at least 1Gbps ports.

Ah man. That's a bummer.

Edit: I see tp-link do make a load balancer with gigabit ethernet (TL-ER5120) but that is considerably more pricey

Looks like I need to get a gigabit one. They are retailing for like R1500+ though.

Amazon has one for about R1500 and drop it with Aramex Global Shopper.
