Almost impossible to find used. That's absolute bull. That they didn't sell it cash. I would actually escalate that, but probably not worth it tho...

Friend who changed to fibre has a B618s-22d he is not using. Its a big white square one. Is that what you are after?

This happened to me as well , i was told to go a telkom direct store

Hey guys. After some deep consideration I am making the move to Fibre. We are currently on the R530 month to month LTE package at my house. I saw somewhere here on the forums that you can transfer the R530 SIM to someone else? Not very clear on the details. So, if someone is keen to chat about that process, you can PM me.

Yes some stores just do Contract sales and no cash like in Centurion Mall and Mall of Africa. They have 2 stores. 1 does contract sales only and the other one does everything cash and contract sales. You can still push for it though as the cash price is listed in the pamphlet.

These deals are not available anymore however if you are successful in a fight with Telkom you can choose the router. The deal comes with a B315 router but you can opt and pay R57 or so a month extra and get the B618-65d.

Here is the direct link to the deal and as mentioned before it would be tough to get but with persistence your might get it and it's R799 p/m which is better than the useless thing they are selling now which is speed capped @ 10Mbps.

Thank you for you response. My brother got his kit Friday but he has the B525. Are you referring to that router as useless because he was just on the phone with Telkom complaining.

Nope I'm referring to the actual deal which is a total BS deal because it's R899 speed capped at 10Mbps.

These deals we have is the full unlimited speed deal with throttle only after 350GB of fair use.

And here I wanted to cancel my 4mb ADSL to get this LTE. Only Weetbix in my area currently. So I take the B618 nor an antenna will fix the speed issue.

Nothing wrong with that router - it's a snazzy LTE-A boy. The current Telkom "uncapped" packages are pretty crap though

I opened those links. The current all hours deal is horrible really horrible. He don't have much choice. Only other option is 2mb adsl.
