By definition that would be a downgrade...No way I'm upgrading to some crappy 10GB deal when I get uncapped @ R529 and these speeds.

I got an sms saying I need to almost renew my contract. But if I renew it, do you think the same package will be used? Or will the new R899 10mbps 150gb data package be applied? Which is not good at all with what we are getting at the moment :/

Do not renew your contract. First of all the package has been discontinued so you can't get it again. Secondly once you reach the 24 months your contract runs on month to month and the router cost falls away so you will pay less per month. You will start getting calls, sms and emails insisting you upgrade but it's not needed.
Alright cools, sad that they discontinued it. Just aslong as it doesn't become a prepaid sim card after a while.

Nope it won't just don't fall for their tricks saying it will be cancelled automatically or be discontinued ect. Just clearly state to them I do NOT give you permission/consent to amend or cancel this contract. They always just sigh and say okay.

I have the B618-65d router and just can't seem to figure out how to get it to 4G+
All it shows is 4G and my previous router, B525, I managed to change the frequency and get it to 4G+ and noticed better speeds on 4G+
How does one go about changing the frequency to achieve 4G+ on the B618-65d ?

Make sure it is set to 2300mhz and do a speedtest. It only kicks in when you moving data. Make sure the tower you connect to is 4+ enabled.
Just seen no 4+ anymore on my router - maybe will kick in after a few speed tests.

Thanks - where do I change the frequency to 2300Mhz - I can seem to find it anywhere in the normal GUI interface.
I'm using an Android tool called Hmanager right now to do it - but....I'm not entirely sure if the changes are inded taking effect.
I recall using a toolbox software on on a B315 I used to have - does that exist for the B618?

If you have the telkom B618 then you should have the setting under Network Settings, no need to use the toolbox just use the web interface (http://192.168.8.1 is the default url)
