Telkom Uncapped LTE Deal - My Trials So Far...

It's not Vodacom roaming though. Telkom has started refarming 3G spectrum on Band 1 (2100MHz) Telkom now offers 4G+ on B40+B40 and B1+B3

This is an interesting move because now people with a Rain B618 can also get some sort of increase in speeds with B1+B3 4G+

Very interesting times indeed!

I've noticed I'm getting 4G+ on the rain B618

My router has been 2100mhz no problem. Got decent speeds. (22mb down, 17mb up) Unrestricted APN


Tonight, it died.

Tried everything.
Went to 1800mhz and I am up, but nothing over 4mb down and 11 MB up.

Don't know if telkom issue, router or what

Several of the guys in my LTE WhatsApp group complained about slow speeds and DNS issues here im Slummies. That was at 7pm. Resolved here now.

I am still on 1800 band. If go back to the 2300 band, nothing.

All the lights on, but no internet.

Regarding the FUP; I can only assume it's a 30 day rolling period? And is night time data thing here? Or is it 300gb regardless the time the data is used?

300GB regardless of the time and counted from the first if each month. This is assuming you have the original Telkom uncapped product. The newer version has much lower FUP

I've the original via change of ownership. Good to know it's from the 1st till the 1st and not that 30 day rolling rubbish. Thank you!

Massive dive in speed here in the moot in capital park. From 30mbps to 2

Often the case,till your connection restarts and they apply your new throttle rule
