Throttled permanently (until the beginning of the next month) after 50GB. Only affects NNTP and P2P
Permanently meaning what, after 12-6 as well as daytime?

After the 50GB FUP:
24/7, torrents/NNTP will download at 128kb/s until the end of the current month. All other traffic unaffected.
Before the 50GB FUP:
Torrents/NNTP will run full speed 12am-6pm. 128kb/s from 6pm-12am. All other traffic unaffected.
This is the point that is confusing me actually. There seem to be conflicting reports.
3) No, they will be throttled 24/7 after the 50gb
4) Incorrect. Unshaped between 12am and 6PM (Whilst under 50GB FUP)3) No, they will be throttled 24/7 after the 50gb
VS
I am already being throttled on torrents I think but I'm currently downloading via http on full speed
We usually consume around 150 gigs in our household between the Xbox One, torrents/newsserver downloads, youtube, etc. around 100gig of that is probably torrents and newsservers. If we are going to be throttled after 50gig, I don't think this will work for us.

Sorry I am a bit new to all this stuff, How exactly does it work if you use put.io ?
1) Pay for a certain size of download space
2) Add torrent links
3) Service downloads the files to your space
4) You download the files over HTTP and delete when you're done
Thanks, makes sense.
Do you need any other services or programs apart from the put.io?
Latest response after numerous requests for update:Nope when you call in its part of the application test to verify you are person you say you are and you need to pass this to proceed to application itself.
If you fail it then system doesnt allow application process to continue. They advised this affected a number of people and they will try and unlock those who escalated this.
I doubt they would be able to without being unfair,Has anyone had a look at their contract? Does the contract allow room for price increases or is R599 firm throughout the 24 months?
Is it true if you buy the router and antenna yourself they won't put you on a 24 month contract? The router is just over R2000 and the antenna seems to be R2000 as well.
You have to love Telkom....
I applied online almost 2 weeks ago, heard nothing since
Got a call this week from them trying to sell me a 100gb capped LTE package,
I told them I want the uncapped one and was told no such product exists!!!
Had to explain to the rep where on their website it is located, but then their "system was slow"
so he couldn't check
Currently its a race between the fixed line dept and LTE uncapped to see who can supply first...
Phone 10213. You'll be able to order the product directly.
