Just walked got home. Insert SIM and was surprised to see green light. Did first my speed test without even checking anything, using small aerial, in my lounge..

I'm happy with that actually. I don't have LOS to the base I'm pretty sure. Coming off 2mb line, it's surely delightful.That's pretty good. Should improve when you direct it at the tower.

I used prepaid sim so long ,while i wait for my sim to go active.
Got 49mps with just the bunny ear antenna's that comes with the router!
Got no clue what's going on with my lte finally got 5 bar signal telkom confirmed it's connecting to the right Base station yet I can't even get 10mb download
Don';t look at the "bars". That's signal strength, and is not really relevant. Look at the actual radio signal values.
Got the Huawei B315 router all I can find is
Rsrp -83db
Sinr jumps from 10 to 16 db

According to this website I got excellent signal but speeds not so hot
Yeah, that's it. Try different towers and try and get better values?
This is the closest station I got...it's just weirs the db ratings better than a few others yet I don't get any where near the speeds
