Same here. Telkom promised to call me with the waybill number last week Wed. I eventually called them this morning and got the WB number. I thought it was progress, but Courier IT don't have it on their system. I guess I'll try again tomorrow...

We all seem to have the same problem. When they initially contacted me on Thursday they mentioned that the Telkom system was not talking to the Courier It system and that a technician was working on it(most Telkom response ever) and they would call me with the waybill number. They never called me I had to call the call centre and finally got it. I wonder if there is a problem though.

Ok the tracking number is now on Courier Its site so I just gave them a call to get the goodies then im off to pick it up:)

My tracking number is also live now - however it's still in JHB so cannot collect :(

Only have 1GB remaining on my current data sim :D

Mine's still not up. It's good to know that things are moving along though. I'm sure it'll be up shortly.

Been waiting for RICA since Friday..... Phoning courier and telkom has helped bugger all to speed up the process.

Despite a few hitches, I've been somewhat impressed with Telkom.

Took 8 working days from initial application (via the website) to delivery.

Setup just the B315 modem with Bunny Ears and currently have a respectable 20 - 25Mbps download and 2 - 4Mbps upload.

Hoping to double that or more once technicians arrive to install the external antenna.

For those who have the unit installed, how does one put the B315 into bridge mode?

I have an Apple TimeCapsule that normally handles the entire network, including reserved IPs, but I have had difficulty switching the Huawei into bridge mode.

Any advice in this regard would really be appreciated.

First post - I just have to share my experiences with this service.

Maybe it is because I am in Cape Town, but this was the most painless and quick connection for me.

I applied online on Wednesday, received a call on Thursday. Exactly one week later the courier phoned and delivered my router.

Approximately one hour later my router connected to the internet with 4 bars showing, using only the internal antenna. I did a speedtest and got 42Mbps download and 5.5Mbps upload speeds.

Maybe I was lucky, but I experienced none of the issues other MBB readers detail on this forum. I seems to be the only user on the Bellville South tower (149 available)

Hang in there guys, maybe Telkom stepped up their service!

You were definitely lucky. On average I would presume most applicants are at 4 weeks from order. Got my sim connected last night and initial speeds are at 10meg. However later in the evening it went up to 22meg and 6 meg up. Ping not so lekker though. Will spend some time moving it around tonight.

My experience wasn't to bad either im just very impatient by nature :)

Applied on the 28th of Jan, got a call within 7 working days, got the tracking number 7 working days later and got the parcel yesterday so not to bad. Just waiting for RICA then we should be up and running.

Mine shows it just reached the DBN hub 2 min ago - what did you have to take with you to collect from them?

Does anyone know if there are specific setting that must be done on the router? in other words, the sim activated and I am using it. or am I supposed to add profiles or something like that?

Should just work with the default settings they ship it with (note it's set to only connect to 4G etc etc) . You could just check if the sim requires a pin and punch it in if required. Mine didn't ask for a pin it was plug and play only changed wifi name & password

Thanks, also didn't need the pin.

I thought I saw some where in the past 107 pages how to open the NAT on this router for Xbox One Live. Anybody know where?
