Hello sorry for re-posting if this already exists. I am trying to apply for this I filled out the online form and received a ticket and that was it. No one at telkom seem to to know what department to transfer me to. In past 3 days I have made ^ hours of calls and keep getting bounced around can anyone recommend me the number that I should call to sort this out

BTW: How does this uncapped package work? Does streaming not fall within the 5OGB?

So I still haven't been RICA'd, but used the telkom chat option to see if they could speed it up. Well, it seems they do know it's been less than 24 hours because I was told to please wait until tomorrow and if still not working, then contact them again.

Chat was wonderful though, whole encounter took less than 5 minutes!! And I can do it from my work computer. You need to have your ICCID number handy though. This is on the plastic card you pop the sim out of.

also received kit yesterday
called courier and made sure they captured rica
called 10213 this morning they took sim number and told me 5 hours that should be about 3pm
holding thumbs

I got mine before 9:30am so 24 hrs .
CourierIT says they busy uploading yesterdays deliveries.
Hope no hiccups as my docs were not taken or scanned etc.

Text of pod at 9:23 but POD uploaded 17:09 so guess have to wait until this afternoon.

If this is done what you can do is request a manual RICA as they should have the documents this makes the process 4-12 hours shorter though for those of us who couldn't wait :p

Today my internet has been so sluggish, it is basically unusable.
I checked my router stats and it seems like it is now using a different tower.
The new tower actually has better SINR and RSRP that I used to have.
However, internet is hellishly slow.

Is this a general Telkom issue today, or am I connected to a dud tower? (meaning I have to now go reposition antenna yet again)?
Alternatively, is there someone at Telkom that can fix it if I give them the Cell ID (or am I dreaming a little too much)?

....and the woes continues STILL waiting on SIM activation 2 days now. Reason I was given is their system was down bleh *rant over*

same problem also waiting for rica received yesterday 9am got a prepaid telkom sim to test

Still waiting. Delivery before 9:23am Tuesday and proof at courier 17:09pm so 24 hours past but still waiting.

Just called 10213 for manual SIM activation. 45 minutes later and after supplying my ID, ICCID and IMEI, I will supposedly be active in the next 2 hours... As is typical though, I'm at work and will only be able to check when I get home at 5, but I'm really hoping to see a beautiful green light!!

3 weeks itno my uncapped LTE, I must say, from applying for it to delivering and activation was a struggle. Telkom Mobile is useless. They do not pick up their phone in the menlyn store. I went to menlyn myself, became irate, started throwing my toys out of the cot.
Atlast my line was activated and these past 3 weeks its been a breeze surfing the Internet. Depending on time of day, latency is decent but speed is excelent, I sync around 30 - 50 meg wich is awesome and I love the affordability factor.

Before this i was on a 4Meg ADSL line so you can just imagine the speed increase I got and im paying bout a hundred rands less per month for like ten times more speed.

I just need to find out of KODI is adding up to my 50Meg FUP or does it fall under streaming....

Other then that, Im Happy TOUCH WOOD

I did the exact same thing on monday, was promised it will be active after 12 hours. No luck, called again, was asked to email ID, ICCID & IMEI, and they will activate immediately. Still no luck. I've had my kit for a week now, and still no green light.

It takes 48 hours after delivery for Rica to be activated.



Also , please note , we are only the Courier and have no connection to the Rica process from Your provider. Please query this with Telkom if not activated by end of business day.
