20 should be more than enough for NF 1080p though on US or SA version. There must be something else at play

Netflix on tv giving network interference message. But on phone and pc its fine.

Will reset tv and try again sometime later. Now just testing things.

I had to turn off IPv6 to get Netflix to work on my win 10 PC

Please elaborate .... I do have a second wifi router for my ADSL at the moment , both are more than 3 channels apart so can't be interference ? Will hook up the XBOX with Netflix later and see how it goes .....

Tx for the Win10 tip , seems to be better on the Laptop now .....

*edit* tried everything , moved router around getting great signal 4 bars but the streaming/browsing is slow , see speedtest results. Even eliminated the wifi by going straight cable ... still same

Think I need to wait for the Telkom techs , where do i check my Tower ID ? Maybe someone in the Centurion area can comment on speed ?

This is weird:

Flappy Antennas attached: set modem to external antenna 1&2

I alternate modem settings with selecting Built-in antenna.

Aren't the flappy antennas external? If so, built in works way better.

Just to follow up on my above post:

Modem Device info:

Flappy antennas attached: External antenna 1&2 setting

Change modem setting to built-in:

built in.jpg

Next is to remove the flappy antennas from the modem and see if 'built-in' RSRP and SNR is affected , when my lazy butt decides to get up...

EDIt: Got off the couch and removed flappys from device:

Conclusive proof: flappy antennas are worse for me. All this time I've been using then in the belief it was better than built-in...we live, we learn :D

Actual downloads pathetic speeds. Speedtest great but real speeds depends.

Update - torrents slow with only 1gb used so cant be FUP.

Wow , look at that , thanks for the tip...

Built-in internal patch antennas out-performing the flat whips has been documented many times on several generations of Huwaei fixed-wireless 3G and LTE devices (B683, B68A, B593, B315 etc) over the last 2-3 years. The internal patch antennas are really, really good; although I am sure there are at least a few folks who don't even realise they are there or that they might be using them ! See here for some more background.
