I have to recommend a Satellite product to one of my clients. Any advice?

I have ADSL and use a router with Nat that allows all my pc's to connect simultaneously. Can it also be done with the sentech/telkom box(router?) they install?

I see Telkom talks about max 4pc or max 8pc on their different products. How do they determine it? Can it be set up like ADSL without a server pc doing that?

Thanks

Dont go for Sentech Vstar, they should sell their 128/128 (15:1) as an 8.5/8.5 service. That's all it really is, and that's all they guarantee. Use a 56k modem, it's way faster.

From experience, the Telkom satelite modem is a DHCP server which allows for the connection of 14 IP's. By using the firts IP in the range with a static setup it can be used as in your ADSL e.g. Remember, the bandwidth of the package will be shared by all the pc's when browsing simultaneousely, therefor the recommendation of 4pc as more pc's will obviousely have slower response.
