HI all

who else is on a waiting list for the LTE deal with Telkom,
It seems i have been on that list forever and no effort from telkom to get additional openings on its base stations.

When the deal started at R599 my base station wasn't showing on the coverage map.

By the time the June special started at R799, all of a sudden my base station was on the map but it was sold out...I've been waiting months on the "waiting list" but they're full of crap. They won't/can't increase the number of available slots because the existing customers will lose speed apparently.

They say "sold out" when they can't afford to accommodate more uncapped users. Since 1st of July it is "sold out" on any rocket tower. Probably deal is not valid anymore.

I'm on the waiting list (Centurion) but the told me this: They are prohibited to sell the router without the external antenna for the Uncapped deal. As soon as they receive the antennas (probably this week or next week) they will resume the deal.

you wont get it if you on the waiting list i rate. the only other option is getting the R799 one

Was applying for a 2nd LTE Contract due to special requirements for up load (Load Balancing) our area only gets like 1MBps upload on 2300Mhz and 1800Mhz has like 2MBps down..they also said no stock of Antenna's and they will no longer be selling in-store you can only get it on-line (N1 City Branch)

Hi.
I had same problem. I spent one whole day looking for shop with aerial, but no joy.
I walked into Telkom Mobile Headoffice (Oak Ave, Centurion) and was helped by a very friendly guy.
Walked out with complete package. Just take all RICA stuff & bank statements.

I will try that, because i can't apply online because i have a Passport and they can't process my online application. I need to go to a shop.
