Telkom what can i say

So sunday moring i get to my pc wanting to check my mail, i see that my internet connection is down.... i am like okay whats going on...the router cant establish a connection to the adsl line never mind even the ISP. I am like okay now i got to phone that crappy place called Telkom. Pick up my phone....dead...nothing ....nada...now i am pissed....Find out by neighbours if their phones are working and everything is fine with them...Later the day i get a phone call on my cell and my friend asks me where i am cause i am not answering my home phone....so i tell but it is dead and he no its ringing...i am like WHAT??...so i do the test myself and dial my house number from my cell and yes its ringing but i dont hear nothing from my phone...cant dial out, internet is down...man oh man. So yes today will be one of those days where i spend most of my time fighting with telkom....

I feel your pain.........I spent most of yesterday on the phone with incompetent people who are reluctant to help if you dont run their Telkom ADSL modems.

My connection is still dead.....Fortanately, the phone is still working.

line stil down but the fault has been reported ....supposingly more people in my area phone lines are dead...not just mine ...but it is all random someone here and someone there....Only telkom can achieve somthing like that. Oh well now i guess its a matter of waiting for telkom to fix their crap

Thx for the offer photonman..but just got the news that the phone is working again...i will test my adsl connection when i get home. If that does not work then I'll contact you.

Well photonman it seems all is working...thx for being one of the willing telkom people who wants to help ...gives me a little more hope.
